The Role

We are seeking a Head of Marketing for SALESmanago to own demand generation and brand positioning for one of Europe’s leading Martech platforms. This role is central to pipeline creation and requires a leader who combines strategic vision with hands‑on execution across digital, performance, content, events and customer marketing.

Success in this role is measured by pipeline creation, marketing ROI, brand visibility, customer engagement and market positioning.

You will work closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success and Revenue Operations to ensure a unified, high‑performance GTM engine. You will collaborate as peers in Product Marketing and Partner Marketing to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned, integrated and commercially impactful.

This role requires a data‑driven, commercially minded marketing leader who can elevate the SALESmanago brand, build a scalable pipeline engine and operate as a key member of the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the SALESmanago marketing strategy, aligned with company growth targets, ICP priorities and pipeline creation goals
  • Build, manage and mentor a high‑performing, multidisciplinary marketing team across demand generation, performance, digital, content, events, customer marketing and communications
  • Own brand positioning, messaging and differentiation within the competitive Martech landscape
  • Optimise the marketing budget for maximum return, prioritising high‑yield initiatives that strengthen brand reputation and drive measurable pipeline impact

Pipeline, Performance Marketing & Marketing Operations

  • Build a predictable pipeline generation engine through performance marketing, paid media, SEO/SEM, CRO, content and multi‑channel campaigns
  • Drive performance marketing with clear KPIs across CAC, cost per SQL, ROAS, pipeline contribution and marketing ROI
  • Ensure rigorous MQL → SQL qualification standards, partnering with BDR leadership and Sales to improve conversion
  • Use data, attribution modelling and forecasting to continuously optimise campaigns, spend allocation and channel performance
  • Work closely with RevOps to maintain accurate funnel tracking, segmentation, reporting and marketing effectiveness dashboards
  • Manage and optimise the marketing tech stack (automation, analytics, CRM, web systems) to support scale and efficiency
  • Develop segmented campaigns tailored to priority target markets across Europe, with a strategic focus on Poland
  • Partner with Product and Product Marketing to define value propositions, messaging frameworks, competitive intelligence and go‑to‑market strategies
  • Collaborate closely with Partner Marketing and Partnerships to create co‑marketing campaigns, partner toolkits, joint events and co‑sell motions that extend reach and drive pipeline
  • Work alongside Sales leadership to ensure marketing initiatives deliver high‑quality pipeline, improved conversion and strong ICP alignment
  • Support Customer Success with lifecycle communications, adoption campaigns, customer stories and advocacy programmes
  • Align with Onboarding and CX teams to ensure consistent, high‑quality customer communication throughout the early lifecycle
  • Work with RevOps to ensure consistent funnel tracking, data hygiene, segmentation and reporting across the GTM engine
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the executive team, ensuring marketing strategy is fully aligned with commercial, product and organisational goals
  • Own the SALESmanago website, ensuring strong UX, SEO performance, conversion optimisation and compelling messaging
  • Lead production of high‑impact content including product content, blog posts, whitepapers, videos and customer success stories
  • Oversee social media strategy, online community engagement and brand storytelling

Events, Trade Shows & Owned Experiences

  • Own and expand a comprehensive events strategy, including major industry trade shows, sales events and owned flagship experiences
  • Ensure every event delivers measurable outcomes for pipeline creation, brand visibility and customer engagement
  • Lead the development of webinar programs and topic‑led virtual events that support thought leadership and demand generation

What We’re Looking For

  • Deep experience in marketing technology, ideally in Marketing Automation, CDP, Personalisation or Customer Engagement
  • At least 5 years in senior Sales leadership role managing new business and business development teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering new business growth, increasing ACV, improving win rates and scaling high‑performing sales teams
  • Strong command of sales methodologies, ideally MEDDPICC
  • Examples of sales coaching and developing sales talent.
  • Hands‑on operator able to coach, join deals, build processes and lead strategically
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders
  • Highly organised, data‑driven and process‑oriented
  • Experience with Salesforce (essential), Gainsight or similar tools (advantage)
  • Polish and English fluency required
