You will be joining the KYC Business Customers Poland function within Financial Crime Prevention. We are responsible for Ongoing Due Diligence and play a significant role in managing financial crime and ensuring the banks compliance.
This journey comes with increased importance and visibility, as well as numerous opportunities to encourage and implement various types of change.
You will lead a department currently consisting of more than 120 people, with 8 leaders reporting to you. Your teams are responsible for performing KYC across multiple market areas. You will also promote a culture of Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement.

You will:
- Manage a large department of around 120 people, facilitating their performance and growth. In addition to your direct reports, you will collaborate with colleagues across several other locations, including Lithuania and Nordic countries. You will report to the Head of FCP Poland.
- Build and maintain cooperative working relationships with stakeholders and ensure proper representation of your department and overall function.
- Ensure delivery of services within agreed-upon timeframes and quality.
- Maintain and continuously enhance the way your team operates, cultivating a culture of LEAN and continuous improvement.
- Lead your department and its people through an intense transformation agenda while maintaining high levels of engagement.
- Get involved in initiatives and projects of various scales and complexity.
- Make and support data-driven decisions in a constantly developing environment.
About you:
- You have significant people management experience of at least 5 years (experience in team management would be beneficial but is not essential).
- You have previous experience running medium/large-scale operations and working in a complex, multicultural environment. Experience with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) is mandatory, with experience in the KYC area being beneficial.
