Overview
Head of HR Services (Dentons Business Services EMEA) — lead the operational delivery of HR services across the UK, Ireland, and Middle East. You will drive process excellence, service consistency, and continuous improvement through a shared services model.
Responsibilities
- Lead and implement HR operational strategy aligned with business objectives
- Oversee the HR Services function, ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery across all regions
- Drive consistency and continuous improvement initiatives of HR processes, policies and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy and user experience
- Optimise HR processes and systems, leveraging automation and digital tools, in collaboration with the HRIS team
- Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational dashboards to measure service performance
- Ensure compliance with employment law and regulatory requirements across all jurisdictions
- Oversee GDPR compliance and ensure robust practices are in place for data management and protection
- Manage HR operations budget and resource planning
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and act as a senior advisor on HR operations
- Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels regarding HR services and process enhancements
- Promote cross-functional collaboration to ensure joined up, user focused HR delivery
- Lead, coach, and develop the HR Services team to foster a culture of service excellence and innovation
Requirements
- 8+ years- experience in HR operations or shared services, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in a matrixed or professional services environment
- Proven track record in process improvement, workflow redesign, and automation projects
- Strong knowledge of HR systems, operational processes and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Working knowledge of UK employment law and GDPR; additional jurisdictional knowledge is beneficial
- Data-driven approach to decision-making and performance monitoring
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and deliver change
- A proactive, inclusive leadership style with a focus on quality, service, and outcomes
