As the Head of IT & Operations for FIC market activities (GBTO/FIC), you will have the unique opportunity to create and shape a dynamic, high-performing team while diving into the fascinating world of trading and post-trade activities . This role is part of a truly global structure, collaborating with colleagues in Paris, New York, Montreal, Hong Kong, and Singapore, offering a chance to contribute on a global stage.
Your future scope of responsibility will cover:
- Leadership & Team Growth
- Building and leading a brand-new team, expanding the GBTO/FIC function from 25 to 70 members.
- Developing a high-performing, sustainable structure that supports IT development and operational excellence.
- Shaping the team’s future, instilling a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Operational & Strategic Excellence
- Overseeing IT development, and supervising Middle-Office and Back-Office operations for FX, Rates, and Credit markets.
- Collaborating with global colleagues to align strategies and achieving common objectives.
- Driving process improvements, integrating new functions seamlessly, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- HR & Employee Engagement
- Managing recruitment, performance reviews, and talent development, empowering team members to excel.
- Fostering a supportive, engaging work environment that emphasizes learning, upskilling, and leadership development.
- Building a team known for its expertise, adaptability, and high morale.
- Financial & Risk Management
- Optimizing costs, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company policies.
- Monitoring financial performance while driving sustainable growth.
Profile required
You will be best suited for this role if:
- You have 10–15 years of experience in IT development and support, with significant leadership experience in global organizations.
- You’re excited by the challenge of creating and growing a team from the ground up and driving transformation.
- You have strong technical, leadership, and communication skills and are motivated by working in a collaborative global environment.
- You’re eager to explore market activities while leveraging your operational expertise.
- Experience with market activities and working in nearshore centers is a plus.
