About Our Client

Our client is an international FMCG company.

Due to the further development of the company, we are looking for a candidate for the newly created position of Head of Finance . The employed person will be responsible for managing the companys finances in the European region. This is a role in which the candidate will supervise the work of the accounting team and independently take care of the topics of controlling and business partnering (hands-on position).

Job Description

1. Lead annual operating plan and quarterly forecasting process for Europe countries
2. Monitor actual spend vs budget and plans, analyze variances
3. Evaluate business models for new investments such as marketing actions or market openings
4. Identify and implement new initiatives to drive profitability
5. Support the business through case analysis and recommendations
6. Manage cash flow and working capital
7. Supervise the accounting team in terms of all tax and reporting matters
8. Ensure compliance with local and group requirements
9. Cooperate with internal and financial auditors
10. Report to Regional CFO

The Successful Applicant

1. 3-5 years of experience in a similar position such as: Head of Finance, Finance Manager, Finance Director
2. Fluent communication in English
3. Proficiency in MS Excel
4. Knowledge of FMCG business
5. ACCA/CIMA qualifications - nice to have
6. Experience in regional structure - nice to have
7. Business acumen and accuracy
8. Self-confidence and assertiveness
