For our Client, who is currently building new SSC structures, we are seeking a candidate ready to advance their career as the Head of Finance Operations for the EMEA region.
The role combines strategic leadership with operational excellence in a growing global business services environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Acting as the key point of contact for finance operations across regions
- Leading service reviews, managing stakeholder meetings, and resolving escalations
- Overseeing end‑to‑end finance service delivery across the EMEA
- Developing talent through coaching, succession planning, and retention initiatives
- Driving process optimization and achieving defined KPI targets
- Preparing and presenting performance insights, risks, and action plans
- Partnering with the Managing Director to ensure aligned cross‑functional delivery
- Identifying improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and scalability
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in Finance operations, preferably in SSC structures
- Track record in people leadership and talent development
- Demonstrated expertise in service delivery and process optimization
- Proven success in leading regional or global Finance teams
- Strong analytical and performance management capabilities
- Fluent English skills
Additional assets:
- German language knowledge
- Experience in process transitions
