Head of Database and Lake Platform

Expected

• Define and maintain secure configuration baselines for key database platforms (Oracle, Db2, SAP ASE, SQL Server, Db2 z/OS, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Teradata, Hadoop)
• Collaborate with SMEs to establish baselines, develop compliance checks, and provide remediation guidance
• Ensure compliance data is shared with the Configuration Baseline Management team
• Work with stakeholders to align security needs with business and regulatory requirements
• Shape capability strategy together with Architecture, Security and Control Owners
• Oversee delivery forums, QBRs, SteerCos and Capability PODs to ensure success with delivery partners
• Manage and prioritise capability backlogs, supporting technology and operations teams
• Lead vendor relationships, evaluate new technologies and drive continuous improvement
• Monitor capability performance using agreed metrics
• Cooperate closely with Control, Service and Platform Owners to address risks, service quality and technology roadmaps
• Own medium-risk and lower Control Issues, Audit points and Regulatory findings
