For our Client, manufacturing company we seek a candidate to fill the managerial role of Head of the Controlling Department, responsible for providing the companys management with reliable information necessary for making strategic decisions. The person in this role will be responsible for financial accounting, reporting, and controlling. Company FTE approx. 700 ppl. Turnover approx. 400 mln PLN/year.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in controlling.
  • Higher education (preferred fields: controlling, finance, accounting, econometrics).
  • Advanced knowledge of English.
  • Knowledge of SAP (especially the controlling module).
  • Analytical skills in evaluating financial results.
  • Independence in managing the area and taking responsibility for delivered products.
  • High quality of delivered reports and recommendations.
  • Highly developed analytical, inference, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Expert knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience in managing or participating in projects implementing IT tools (ERP, BI, RPA, and similar).
  • Proactive approach.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing periodic reports on the companys activities and other required financial information for the Management Board, Supervisory Board, and owners.
  • Consolidated reporting within the Group.
  • Supporting business decisions by preparing financial analyses.
  • Managing cost allocation within internal service settlements.
  • Analyzing the profitability of the Company and its areas.
  • Planning the Companys budgets and controlling their implementation.
  • Preparing cost calculations for the production of products and services.
  • Verifying existing controlling processes and preparing innovative solutions.
  • Actively participating in the implementation of controlling tools in the Company, with particular emphasis on automation.
  • Supervising the process and standards of controlling in the company.
  • Controlling the companys costs (individual and consolidated).
  • Developing and overseeing the companys budget.
  • Analyzing the profitability of ongoing activities.
  • Providing reliable management information for decision-making to the companys management.
  • Managing and supporting a small team.
  • Reporting directly to CFO in PL and Group HQ.
