Main responsibilities:
Ensure strong contribution of concept to country growth, by:
- Guaranteeing our stores are responding to the needs of current and desired consumers, in line with country consumer segmentation focuses.
- Ensuring our concept reflects current country strategy (sports, services, channels) and is strongly contributing to the improvement of Decathlons perception as a global sport brand.
Overlook key areas of concept, in particular:
- Sales formats recommendations (eg. flagship, destination, city) for new and existing units, as well as digital in store & showrooming strategy.
- Maintenance of customer journey touchpoints (parking, facade, entrance, services zones, commercial zones, other common zones, type of mass plan) and merchandising solutions.
- Store fleet modernization process (strategy, planning, investments trajectory, execution) and new openings process.
Develop, motivate and take care of human capital, with focus on:
- Be the strong voice among country and regional leaders. Develop a collective in the service of the project (local, regional and HQ teams & individuals).
- Animate the managerial scheme, focusing on the challenges of transformations and project management. Constantly monitor the project evolution to make necessary changes in team structure and responsibilities scope. Create a motivating, positive work environment.
- Ensure proper level of training for myself and teammates, focusing on retail evolution and external benchmarking. Create growth plans for the team to.
Requirements:
- Strong customer orientation and the ability to anticipate their needs,
- Proven track record of leadership experience with cross functional teams, with proven ability to inspire a team to achieve high performance,
- Proven track record of successful brand and / or commercial projects,
- Experience in managing conceptual and strategic projects in a retail environment,
- Knowledge of market trends and modern omnichannel solutions with focus on sport and retail,
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills,
- Fluent in English, the local language is nice to have,
- At least 10 years of work experience, preferably in retail or brand,
- Ability to analyze data and draw actionable insights.
