Our customer is in the process of applying for a digital-only banking license from the Saudi Central Bank. The current phase is focused on building the entire cloud infrastructure and banking applications. As part of this journey, we have officially hired a regulatory consulting firm and a system integrator.
Guide the Cloud Infrastructure Team on designing, developing and deploying modular cloud-based systems
Oversee of setting up and managing Networks, Kubernetes clusters, Cloud Services, etc. for production and non-production workloads in end-to-end manner
Maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practices
Ensuring efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security
Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
Establishing, delivering, and refining a platform engineering roadmap to ensure that all platforms and products remain current, deliver value to product engineering teams, and support the needs of internal stakeholders in terms of scalability, resilience, security, capacity, and operational maintenance
Defining a technology roadmap that includes deliverables focused on the continued improvement of the supported solutions, and empowering a DevOps culture through the use of automated platform capabilities underpinning customer-focused product engineering and development
Creating tools and automated workflow capabilities to enable our software engineers to test and promote code across different environments and into production with maximum velocity
requirements-expected :
Deep, multi-year technical expertise in Cloud-based architectures in the area of Analytics, Big Data, BI or IOT
Experience with any Cloud Solution provider, and with tools like Docker & Kubernetes
Strong skills in designing infrastructure architectures (e.g. Hub-Spoke Model)
Extensive experience in engineering and operating platforms within a DevOps/DataOps organization - delivering toolchains and automation
Substantial experience in agile delivery methodologies, such as SCRUM or Kanban, and related software tools such as GitLab CI/CD
Fluent in English with high confidence in both verbal and written communication
