About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Business to lead the business and commercial growth of our Payments Gateway product. This key position will shape the market strategy, build strong partnerships, obtain attractive commercial conditions in target geographies, and drive revenue expansion (transactions, referral, and additional) in the high‑risk payments industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the commercial strategy and business plan to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
  • Lead and mentor the business team, setting clear goals, conducting performance reviews, and fostering accountability and collaboration.
  • Conduct market research and monitor competitors to identify trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with C‑Level executives to establish and optimize pricing models that balance profitability with competitiveness.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to align campaigns and promotions with revenue objectives and target markets.
  • Identify and manage strategic partnerships to expand market reach and create new revenue streams.
  • Oversee contract negotiations and streamline client onboarding for efficiency and compliance.
  • Ensure alignment with legal and regulatory requirements in collaboration with Compliance and Legal teams.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for escalations.
  • Own and optimize business processes, including CRM, lead generation, and performance tracking.

  • 7+ years of relevant experience with a proven track record of success in a similar fintech (B2B) role.

  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build professional relationships.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
