Together with our intentational client - we are seeking an experienced Head of Accounts Payable with German to provide strategic leadership, management, and governance of the accounts payable operations at our Poland Centre. This is a unique opportunity to build and oversee efficient, customer-focused systems and processes that add real value to the organization!
What we expect
- Minimum 5 years experience in team lead (or equivalent) position
- Knowledge of English at least at B2/C1 level and German at least B1/B2 or above
- Completed studies in the field of finance/accounting
- Track record of delivery in GBS operations leadership
- Detailed and accurate able to manage a team to metrics, targets and KPI’s
- Experience of working with SAP for Finance and specific Finance transactions including FI/CO modules
- Experience of working in Finance Operations Function in a PTP Value Stream
- A proven track of CI initiatives delivered
- Great team builder that leads through example and a hands-on engagement style.
- Energetic, supportive and non-hierarchical leadership style.
- Good commercial knowledge of working in IFRS and associated accounting principles
- Ability to travel for business trips/training (10-15%)

Your tasks
- Leadership – A customer focused leader, capable of building and inspiring a new team who shares in the spirit and values of ourcompany and GBS strategy.
- Transformation & Service Management – Capable of developing new value chains and establishing new services for GBS.Fosters confidence with customers through transforming processes traditionally run in the businesses into formal services.
- Building Teams – Lead the establishment of a brand-new team in Poland from inception including the recruitment campaign andonboarding of new staff, setting the culture and direction for the team from day one.
- Operational Management – Lead the delivery of high quality, consistent, effective and efficient services from the Poland Centreand support delivery across the GBS network. Sets milestones, determines priorities allocates responsibilities and managesworkflows.
- Stakeholder & Change Management – Develops lasting relationships with stakeholders, fosters understanding of change, and engages people to support it using proven methodologies across the new center and donor regions.
- People Management – Motivates, coaches and manages staff towards the achievement of their goals. Provides regular feedbackincluding documented performance management.
