Together with our intentational client - we are seeking an experienced Head of Accounts Payable with German to provide strategic leadership, management, and governance of the accounts payable operations. This is a unique opportunity to build and oversee efficient, customer-focused systems and processes that add real value to the organization!
What we expect
- Minimum 5 years experience in team lead (or equivalent) position
- Knowledge of English at least at B2/C1 level and German at least B1/B2 or above
- Experience of leading Accounts Payables team working on SAP platforms
- Completed studies in the field of finance/accounting
- Track record of delivery in GBS operations leadership, detailed and accurate able to manage a team to metrics, targets and KPI’s
- A proven track of Continuous Improvement initiatives delivered
- Great team builder that leads through example and a hands-on engagement style
- Energetic, supportive and non-hierarchical leadership style
- Ability to travel for business trips/training (10-15%)

Your tasks
- Leadership – A customer focused leader, capable of building and inspiring a new team who shares in the spirit and values of ourcompany and GBS strategy.
- Transformation & Service Management – Fosters confidence with customers through establishing processes traditionally run in the businesses into globally consistent and well-controlled formal services.
- Building Teams – Lead the establishment of a brand-new team in Poland from inception including the recruitment campaign andonboarding of new staff, setting the culture and direction for the team from day one.
- Operational Management - Lead the delivery of high quality, consistent, effective and efficient services. Sets milestones, determines priorities allocates responsibilities and manages workflows.
- Stakeholder & Change Management – Builds long term and sustainable relationships with customers and key stakeholders,creates an understanding of the need for change and draws on people to support the change process, uses existing methodology tohelp win hearts and minds both in the new centre and in the donor regions.
- People Management – Motivates, coaches and manages staff towards the achievement of their goals. Provides regular feedbackincluding documented performance management.
