An HQA (Hardware Quality Assurance) Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to ensure that products consistently meet the highest standards across design, functionality, and customer requirements. This position requires technical abilities, a detail-oriented mindset, systematic approach and collaboration skills to work closely with teams throughout the entire product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers from the concept phase through product delivery to identify risks and establish product quality approach
  • Product requirement analysis and risk identification
  • Design review and flaw detection.
  • Ensure testability of the product during design and production phase
  • Develop, implement, execute and document test plans and cases to validate product quality, reliability and compliance before release
  • Prepare and present tests reports for product approval
  • Documentation verification: datasheets, manuals.
  • Efficient defect tracking - identify, reproducing, document, and communicate issues, and support the remediation to resolution. C ustomer feedback analysis and s upport s ervice.
  • Propose solutions to address product or process quality deficiencies and oversee continuous improvement projects to boost customer satisfaction
  • Conduct root cause analysis on product failures
  • Ensuring compliance with company, industry, and regulatory standards. Tests in accredited laboratories coordination
  • Recommend and help implement new processes, tools, or testing methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Take care of laboratory equipment and tools, measurement methodologies and techniques.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance or testing, ideally with experience in signal conversion and fiber-optic transport systems for broadcast and video production applications
  • Proficiency in test case design, execution, and automation tools for electronic products
  • Working knowledge of coding/scripting languages is a plus (like Python)
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards for product safety, EMC such as FCC, ISED, EMCD, LVD
  • Analytical thinking, attention to detail, documentation, and strong problem-solving ability.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
  • Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Strong command of English (both written and spoken) required for daily communication.
  • English proficiency is required for working with international teams, documentation, and reporting.
