We are currently looking for a Hardware Lab Coordinator to support our client in the aviation industry. The company specializes in avionics systems and operates a laboratory in Gdańsk, where cutting-edge hardware solutions for aircraft are developed and tested.
This role is highly diverse and requires a unique combination of skills in electrical engineering, quality assurance, and lab management. The person in this position will ensure the smooth operation of the lab, maintain compliance with safety and corporate policies, and support the team in hardware testing, documentation, and procurement.
This role does not require hands-on assembly or testing but involves planning, organizing, and ensuring smooth operations in the lab. It’s a key supporting position that helps the engineering team focus on development while ensuring everything runs efficiently and safely.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, organizing, and improving processes while working closely with engineers, technicians, and facility teams.

responsibilities :
Maintaining the laboratory in proper technical condition, ensuring the continuity of operations
Planning and coordinating maintenance activities
Managing the laboratory regulations and adapting them to existing needs
Ensuring safety and hygiene in the laboratory
Organizing training required by local regulations
Managing the access control system
Designing, assembling, and modernizing laboratory workstations (knowledge of CAD)
Ordering laboratory equipment and keeping equipment records up-to-date
Maintaining laboratory documentation (procedures, instructions, technical descriptions of workstations, etc.)
Collaborating with project teams
Providing occasional support to teams using the laboratory
Optimizing processes and costs
requirements-expected :
Experience in a technical environment (electrical engineering, quality control, or related fields)
Familiarity with CAD software (ability to design and plan rack cabinets and lab space layout)
Basic knowledge of electrical principles (e.g., oscilloscopes, DC vs. AC currents)
Ability to create and maintain records, documentation, and compliance reports
Understanding of safety, fire protection, and ISO standards
Strong organizational skills to manage equipment, lab spaces, and policies
Good communication skills – ability to coordinate with engineers, facilities, and external suppliers
