Your responsibilities

  • leading development activities within a large-scale insurance project using Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter,
  • driving configuration, development, and integration tasks across multiple Guidewire modules,
  • overseeing end-to-end delivery quality: assigning work, performing code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Our requirements

  • Guidewire ACE certifications,
  • at least 5 years in Guidewire Expertise,
  • deep hands-on experience in Guidewire Configuration across at least one major module: PolicyCenter or BillingCenter or ClaimCenter,
  • experience in Guidewire Rating ,
  • proven capability leading development teams, assigning work, conducting code reviews, and ensuring delivery quality,
  • hands-on experience in Upgrades (PC/CC/BC)—running upgrade tools, merge trackers, resolving compatibility issues,
  • extensive expertise across the full SDLC: requirements analysis, estimation, design, development, unit testing, defect management,
  • strong Gosu programming skills
  • Strong SQL knowledge (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL),
  • experience working with SOAP/REST web services, integration patterns, data models, and insurance domain integrations,
  • expertise in Agile delivery, daily stand-ups, planning, demos, retrospectives,
  • domain knowledge,
  • understanding of P&C Insurance: FNOL, Exposures, Incidents, Reserves, Payments, Underwriting, Billing workflows,
  • leadership & Communication skills,
  • proven experience in mentoring developers, conducting knowledge transfers, maintaining standards & best practices,
  • proficiency with DevOps tools and Git,
  • ability to interact with BAs, architects, onshore leads; provide estimations; manage risks; create design documents,
  • strong analytical ability, proactive issue resolution, and capability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders.

Optional

  • proficiency with Document management integrations,
  • solid knowledge of Java/J2EE and ability to work with GW platform extensions,
  • experience with Cloud, performance optimization, and GW Cloud best practices.
