Guidewire Datahub Developer - Financial Services industry

Location: Warsaw/Wroclaw/Katowice

Hybrid model: 2 days office/3 days remote

We are looking for a Guidewire DataHub Developer to join our EY GDS Advisory team focused on providing cutting-edge IT solutions dedicated to the biggest market players in the EMEA region.

Your key responsibilities

• Manage standalone projects or elements of multiple client engagements.
• Deliver quality client services by monitoring progress and providing leadership to employees.
• Identify future sales opportunities and support practice development activities in the Digital practice.

• Maintain long-term client relationships and cultivate business development opportunities.
• Direct daily progress of engagement work and manage staff performance.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of post-bachelors work experience at a financial services company or comparable experience as a consultant in a professional services firm delivering advisory services.
• 2+ years of implementation experience using any MDM (e.g. Informatica, DataHub).
• Experience with software design patterns, architecture specifications and full software lifecycle.
• Experience with SDLC documentation principles and practice.
• Agile and lean product development mindset.
• Skills and proven experience in Master Data Management (MDM) tools and solution delivery.
• Information flow modeling hands-on experience.
• Logical and physical data modeling experience.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience in Guidewire DataHub.
• Experience with ETL tools (e.g. SAP DS or similar).
• Experience with system version control (e.g. Git, Bitbucket, etc).
• Good knowledge of SQL and Python languages.
• Guidewire certification: Guidewire Certified Specialist - DataHub and InfoCenter Integration - Kufri.
• Domain-driven design experience, preferably focused on financial services, insurance or telecommunications.
• Data migration tools knowledge.
• Proficiency in German or French at a communicative level.
