British American Tobacco Global Travel Retail has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Executive in Warsaw. We need a dynamic and innovative individual to join our team in Global Travel Retail (GTR) as the Europe Supply Chain Executive. The role manages execution of supply and inventory efficiency (of existing products as well as new launches) to achieve volume and order fulfilment objectives. Scope covers European, Americas, African and Middle East markets. The role works closely with Supply Network Operations (SNO), Supply Chain Innovation Planning (SCIP), Brand (Category), Trade (Commercial), New Product Innovation (NPI), Demand Forecasting (DF), Regulatory, Customer Operations and Logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform analyses of demand and supply outlook and actively contribute to the Customer Facing Team (CFT) for Europe, ensuring optimum balance and risk mitigation, stock allocation and prioritization.
- Drive Daily Direction Setting (DDS) with SNO and Customer Service, feeding outputs to fulfilment meetings with Trade.
- Analyze and drive inventory efficiency in Europe; report on preventive and mitigation measures on the micro‑level. Key reports include Inventory Health Risk (IHR) and Finished Good Obsolescence.
- Manage Finished Good Non‑Criminal Loss (NCL), ensuring consistency with stakeholders and preparing reports for Europe.
- Lead new initiatives and projects (Brand, Regulatory, NPI) within existing High‑Level Designs (HLD), RTM and Local Supply Chain Assessment (LSCA) for Europe, ensuring timely and well‑planned execution. Propose new initiatives requiring HLD, RTM or LSCA and perform network assessments.
- Act as main end‑market supply chain point of contact during NPI projects, from kickoff to closure, including write‑off noting where applicable; provide FG stock on hand, network and confirmed production for forecast alignment.
- Secure ordering and reconciliation of security labels with issuing authorities and factories, ensuring timely production, proper reporting, payment and reconciliation, including handling expiration dates that may impact sales cut‑offs.
- Prepare End‑Market Stock Build Notes (SBN) timely and correctly, with appropriate communication and approvals per process.
