The Strategic Planning Manager guides the GT Transformation day-to-day rhythm over various strategic initiatives in scope of the department and contributes to the success of the GT Transformation dealings. They are in sync with Head of GT Transformation and their Lead Team, as well as other teams as per need (CTO, Applications Delivery, TCD, Finance) to maintain insight and manage overall advancement across the portfolio of our strategic projects. The Strategic Planning Manager functions, for the most part, autonomously. They don’t execute a set of tasks day after day. Each day, they determine what they need to do and then they do it.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

  • Act as an operational linchpin and strategic facilitator within the GT Transformation, a role that is fundamental to its efficiency and effectiveness.
  • For key GT Transformation initiatives, ensure that internal governance processes are running, enhance them, monitor execution against the plan and provide operational support.
  • Provide timely counsel and key updates on critical initiatives requiring Head of GT Transformation and their Lead Team attention.
  • Frequently hold the mantle of communications, creating relevant materials and engaging with team members and stakeholders through presentations and reports.
  • Manage the financials of the function, monitor actuals along with expected spend, and work closely with GT Transformation Lead Team and finance to ensure alignment.
  • Maintain audit items and second opinion mapping to manage delivery and successful closure of items within a given timeframe and communicate progress to GT Transformation and GT risk/audit function accordingly.
  • Advise and support Head of GT Transformation in their daily duties.
  • Plan the agenda, coordinate, and run key GT Transformation meetings including Leadership Team weekly & All team monthly community calls, and potential off-sites to ensure they are deliberate, relevant, focused, and efficient.

You will report to the Head of GT Transformation.
