Group Operational Excellence Project Manager

We are a world leader in stone wool solutions, and we invite you to join our International Group Operational Excellence team as a Project Manager.

In this role, you will identify improvement opportunities across ROCKWOL‑producing units, travel across Europe and North America, and work closely with factory teams to implement sustainable solutions that drive efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct analyses of factory operations to identify improvements in productivity, output, and quality.
• Lead projects that eliminate waste, optimize processes, and boost operational efficiency.
• Share best practices across production units to drive consistency and collaboration.
• Establish and drive a global community within Systems production.
• Measure factory maturity to ensure consistent application across all production units and define plans for further development.
• Monitor performance metrics, report on improvements, and drive data‑based decision‑making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical background with a structured way of working.
• 3+ years of experience in lean manufacturing implementations or consulting with a proven track record within operations.
• Demonstrated coaching and facilitation skills, enabling work at all organisational levels.
• Excellent intercultural competencies and flexibility to travel 60–70 days per year internationally.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced team.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
