Group Controlling & Reporting Specialist
The Group Controlling & Consolidation Specialist will provide a high level of professional and corporate service to all internal and external stakeholders. The role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of all financial information, particularly monthly management accounts and contributions to budget and forecast submissions in collaboration with the Group Controller. A key aspect of this position is to enhance and add value to the finance function through process improvements and by delivering high-quality financial information across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and coordination of statutory accounts and tax filings for the Polish legal entity, ensuring compliance with local GAAP and tax regulations
- Coordination of statutory reporting and tax compliance for the Polish legal entity in cooperation with local advisors
- Consolidation and review of financial data from over 20 legal entities
- Preparation of monthly management and KPI reports
- Help driving global alignment of processes and processes and procedures in collaboration with the Group Controller and Global Finance Director.
- Serve as a contact person for the global audit partner
- Perform and review intercompany reconciliations
- Support M&A activities to ensure accurate accounting and purchase price allocation
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects, including the implementation of finance IT solutions, report development, improvement and strengthening of the internal control framework
- Uploading of vendors invoices into the accounting providers platform - daily activity
- Preparation of the cash flow forecast
- Preparation of the payment request sent to the Finance Managers team
- Issuing monthly invoice to NAVTOR AS
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CA highly preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial management (Big 4 experience preferred).
- Experience with Polish statutory and tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; Power BI knowledge is a plus
- Experience with ERP systems and process improvements
- Proven ability to work in fast‑paced and changing environments
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid understanding of accounting standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multicultural teams and functions
- Strong time management skills and ability to perform under pressure
