• Develop and implement purchasing strategies for IT category
• Ensure availability of goods and services to ensure business continuity
• Provide critical input to projects, supporting commercial teams and ensuring alignment with global purchasing strategies and cost objectives
• Execute the full purchasing process, including supplier sourcing, negotiation and purchasing of materials and services
• Conduct global market research to monitor industry trends and identify potential new suppliers and cost savings opportunities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers to ensure continuous supply of high quality products in various locations
• Negotiate global contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards
• Develop, review and manage contracts to ensure compliance with group policies and regional legal requirements
• Oversee contract renewals and modifications

Our requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, with a focus on global sourcing, supplier management and contract negotiations
• Negotiations skills
• Experience in IT purchasing
• Fluency in written and spoken English due to international cooperation
• Degree in economics, business management, logistics, supply chain management or related field
• Ability to analyze costs and prices to develop the best purchasing strategies while identifying and minimizing risk
• Knowledge of current market trends, supplier capabilities and new products and technologies
• Ability to plan and manage purchasing projects to ensure timely and cost-effective execution
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Flexibility and ability to handle stressful situations
