About the Role
As a GRC Consultant, you will be responsible for creating a protection requirements concept in accordance with BSI baseline protection for a backend hosted in AWS. In doing so, you will take into account the increased need for protection in the categories of confidentiality, integrity and availability. You will work closely with cloud architects, security teams and compliance officers to implement regulatory requirements and security standards.
Your Tasks
- Creation of a protection requirements concept according to BSI baseline protection, taking into account the increased need for protection.
- Carrying out risk analyses and documenting the results.
- Advice on compliance requirements and regulatory requirements.
- Coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance.
- Support with security checks and audits.
- Creation and maintenance of policies and processes in the GRC environment.
Your Profile
- Practical and demonstrable experience with BSI baseline protection, especially in the case of increased protection requirements.
- Experience in risk analysis and risk documentation.
- Knowledge of compliance topics (e.g. B. ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Familiar with cloud environments, ideally AWS.
- Basic understanding of security architectures and processes.
- Analytical skills and structured way of working.
- Strong communication skills and team orientation.
- Willingness to undergo security checks (e.g. background checks).
- German-language desirable / advantageous.
Nice-to-have
- Experience with AWS‑specific security and compliance services.
- Knowledge of automated compliance documentation.
- Certifications such as BSI IT‑Grundschutz‑Praktiker, AWS Certified Security Specialty, CISM or CISSP.
