Requirements:

  • Interest in applying software engineering to the renewable energy industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Good communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry-specific tools.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of automation tools and applications that support engineering and operations within the company.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using languages such as Python, C#, JavaScript, or VBA.
  • Collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Debug, test, and optimize code to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Support data analysis, reporting, and design workflows through the development of custom scripts and dashboards.
  • Document processes, workflows, and code to ensure clarity and knowledge sharing.
  • Learn and apply best practices in software development, automation, and integration while gaining exposure to renewable energy engineering systems.
  • Drive a proactive culture of innovation, efficiency, and rapid problem solving to maintain Solarports market leadership.
