What You Will Do

In this Digi, Data and AI Graduate position you will be exposed to various initiatives on our automation journey, improving process efficiency and enhancing organizational readiness for digital solutions. You will work at the intersection of digitalization and UPM business and processes such as supply chain, marketing, sales, sourcing, or finance, collaborating with other digital experts and hands‑on using automation and data tools. The Graduate Program aims to strengthen your professional and personal competencies and broaden your business network.

  • Take part in project executions developing digit, data and AI solutions
  • Work with a wide set of business data (customer services, supply chain, financial management)
  • Get familiar with workflow, process and other automation tools
  • Contribute to global solution development projects
  • Participate in all phases of a project lifecycle from concepting, planning to execution and post‑project care

Who You Are

  • You have a master’s degree from a relevant field of studies (information technology, software engineering, digital development, or economics)
  • You are comfortable with technology and digital tools, and understand user experience and customer requirements
  • You are enthusiastic about Digi, Data, AI and business process development
  • You have strong interest in analytical problem‑solving and some experience with digi, data and AI tools (e.g. Power BI, Dev Ops). Programming skills (Python, R, SQL) are considered a plus
  • You can think creatively, analytically and strategically
  • You are eager to take on new challenges and explore new ideas
  • You have good communication skills and can work both individually and within an international team
  • You are fluent in spoken and written English

Additional Information

The UPM Graduate Program is a paid internship. We support hybrid working, balancing office and remote work.
