We are seeking a talented and experienced GCP Infrastructure Support Specialist to manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure. This role will specifically focus on supporting our payments and cards processing systems while ensuring robust fraud monitoring mechanisms. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and a background in payment systems, with a keen eye for security and fraud prevention.

This Infrastructure Engineer role is critical for Strategic F24 Global Program to secure GCP infrastructure support for UK Payments work continuation & UK Cards work kick off.
Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain GCP infrastructure supporting payments, cards processing, and fraud monitoring systems.
• Monitor system performance and reliability; implement improvements as necessary.
• Collaborate with the development and security teams to design and implement robust fraud detection and prevention strategies.
• Conduct regular security audits and implement necessary patches and updates.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for infrastructure-related issues.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to infrastructure configuration and processes.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in cloud infrastructure, payments systems, and fraud monitoring.
