We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join the team supporting a client in the banking sector. This team is responsible for ensuring that all code deployed is secure across backend, frontend, infrastructure, and mobile environments. We are seeking a developer with strong software engineering fundamentals and hands-on DevOps experience. While Python is currently in use, the long-term plan is to transition to Golang, so familiarity with one or both languages is beneficial.
responsibilities :
Design and build systems that secure the client’s entire software supply chain
Develop and integrate solutions to detect vulnerabilities in third-party libraries, OS components, and containers
Integrate with GitLab, CI/CD workflows, and build attestation systems
Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams
Ensure security tooling is embedded into development workflows
Contribute to the strategic evolution of secure development processes
requirements-expected :
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a software engineer, developer, or in a similar role with Golang, Python, or Java
Strong knowledge of at least one programming language, with a general understanding of others
Familiarity with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS
Practical experience with DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IAC)
Good understanding of networking protocols and principles, e.g., TCP, DNS, TLS, HTTP
Experience developing and operating scalable distributed systems
Fluency in English, both spoken and written
Open to hybrid work - 3 days per week in the office
