Job Description:

This is an entry level position where you will analyze and investigate customer data related to AML/KYC/Sanctions, cooperate with business and compliance partners, and ensure operations are conducted within agreed business timeframes. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, multinational team and contribute to maintaining high standards of compliance and customer service.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyzing and investigating customers who match against Sanctions and AML/KYC lists during the account opening and maintenance processes.
2. Conducting searches, gathering data and recording evidence from Citi internal systems, the Internet, commercial databases.
3. Cooperating with Business and Compliance partners on daily basis.
4. Operating within agreed business timeframes.
5. Applying or adapting knowledge obtained from training.
6. Building and applying knowledge of sanctions screening and AML processes.

Qualifications:

1. Advanced English – both written and spoken (daily duties and company communication are conducted in English).
2. Strong analytical and organizational skills.
3. Knowledge of the Sanctions/KYC/AML. Experience in banking operations or compliance – would be an asset.
4. Ability to learn quickly about new business processes and communicate effectively with different audiences.
5. Ability to embrace change.
6. Self-motivated.
