Job Overview
TE Connectivitys Product Management Teams manage all aspects of a product, from driving new product development to manufacturing to marketing. They are responsible for overall product strategy, business leadership, and capacity plans to meet sales and profit targets.
In this role, you will be part of the Global Medium Voltage Switchgear connectors team, working closely with cross-functional teams and contributing to the development of the energy sector towards a more sustainable and reliable energy pathway.
The Senior Product Manager will have global responsibility for the product portfolio, managing all aspects of the product lifecycle from strategy setting to daily operations, defining and executing strategic goals related to the assigned product portfolio.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Define global product line strategy.
- Develop market growth strategies.
- Create and implement 5-year new product roadmaps.
- Initiate cost reduction programs to enhance profitability.
- Lead development and advanced development projects.
- Gather and coordinate market and customer requirements through VOC meetings.
- Conduct market research to set optimal pricing for new products to maximize profit margins and growth.
- Establish processes for continuous market price tracking, target cost analysis, and cost-out programs.
- Maintain and update the Business Case and P&L, driving actions to meet revenue and margin targets.
- Collaborate with Marketing to support VOC activities and develop product launch strategies.
- Organize external demonstrations, training, and field trials to drive product acceptance.
- Define regional strategies over a 5-year horizon and create detailed execution plans, incorporating regional input.
- Manage gross margin improvements and enhance cost competitiveness through product and process improvements.
- Provide forecasts for volume, value, margin, capacity, and investments for new products.
- Regularly report on product performance against key metrics like revenue growth, margin, and sales of new products.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in Product Management or a commercial role.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Industry experience, preferably in the Energy Power Industry.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strategic thinking skills.
- Leadership qualities and ability to influence teams positively.
- Strong communication skills and ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
- Results and solution-oriented approach.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience in a global matrix organization.
- Financial analysis skills.

Internship Program Highlights:
TE offers a comprehensive internship program including resources, networking events, virtual meetups, skill-building sessions, and a National Intern Day celebration. Interns gain professional development, mentorship, and project experience over a 10–12 week period, typically from May to August, with activities including onboarding, workshops, networking, operations, and executive exposure.
