Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
We invite you to join us as Global Product Manager.
In this role, you will take over a key responsibility in managing a portfolio of customer applications around weighing solutions in Industry, throughout the entire product lifecycle.
This is a global, strategic role where your ownership, proactivity, and curiosity are key to success.
To give you more insights, here are examples of products that you will be responsible for:
- Contribute to preparation and implementation of the SPG (Strategic Product Groups) strategy and take responsibility for the assigned products and respective service-products.
- Manage these products globally throughout their lifecycle from the development of new products to the retirement of obsolete products, including product, price, and promotion aspects.
- Prepare and execute product launches, including developing launch materials, sales tools, market positioning guidance, customer presentations, and coordinating training for sales, support, and training associates in market organizations.
- Determine customer needs and derive product specifications for new software and consultative products, including evaluating the commercial justification of projects.
- Establish sales processes and pre-sales and follow-on services for the products, including determining spare parts, their positioning, and logistics/availability.
What You Need to Succeed
- 7-10 years of professional experience in Sales, Marketing, Product Development, or a similar business area.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role as Product Manager/Product Owner.
- Excellent English skills in both spoken and written communication.
- Experience and a successful track record in product management of software and/or consultative products.
- Strong Software/IT focus and interest.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with internal stakeholders, market organizations, and customers globally.
- Good sense for business opportunities with an entrepreneurial attitude.
- Sales experience in software and/or consultative selling is a significant plus, along with knowledge of quality control processes and a strong sense for commercial aspects.
- Willingness to travel globally (maximum a few travels within a year if needed).
