Global Mobility Specialist – EY
Location: Wrocław/Katowice – 2 days in office / 3 days remote
Overview
Working as part of the Talent Team, the Immigration Senior Specialist is primarily responsible for monitoring business travel and preparing both regular and ad-hoc reports on employee mobility. The role also involves managing immigration documentation for all non‑EU employees and ensuring compliance with employment regulations for foreign nationals by administering personal data to guarantee its accuracy, correct registration, and high‑quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and compliant execution of billable business trips and short‑term assignments for GDS Poland employees.
- Prepare the necessary documentation for the proper processing of secondments.
- Prepare periodic and ad‑hoc reports.
- Maintain up-to-date records of travel and mobility activities.
- Ensure legal employment status of non‑EU employees by administering personnel data to guarantee accurate record‑keeping and high‑quality output at all times.
- Apply for work permits and declarations of entrusting work to foreigners.
- Assist employees, candidates, and business units with their mobility‑related inquiries.
- Collaborate with global immigration teams.
- Handle mobility and business travel‑related activities.
- Prepare and review cost estimates.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- At least three years’ experience in a similar mobility role; experience within a large, multinational company is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Power Query is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to focus and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
- Team player with an energetic and open‑minded approach.
- Strong analytical skills.
