As a Global Mobility Partner, you will serve as a key mobility lead supporting cross-border management and mobility processes. Working closely with business leaders and HR Business Partners (HRBPs), you will provide consulting services, coordinate, implement, and communicate mobility‑related matters globally. You will manage a broad range of mobility activities including expatriate and domestic relocations, localization, data collection and analysis, benchmarking, taxation, and mobility logistics. You will also support vendor management and collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant mobility operations.

Key Responsibilities

Mobility Policy and Administration

  • Monitor market trends and best practices in global mobility to provide feedback and support policy formulation and program enhancements.
  • Analyze mobility program data and make recommendations to optimize costs and business impact.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with HRBPs, business leaders, Legal, Finance, Tax, and Security teams.
  • Work with external service vendors, conduct cost analyses, benchmarking, and net‑to‑gross calculations to support decision‑making.
  • Stay informed on relevant employment, tax, and immigration laws and regulations affecting mobility.
  • Coordinate with external mobility suppliers to ensure service levels meet agreed standards and smooth administration of mobility programs.

Tax, Visa, and Compliance

  • Manage relationships with legal and immigration teams, including external counsel, to support visa and work permit processes.
  • Oversee external vendor services related to relocation and mobility, ensuring timely and quality delivery in line with service agreements.
  • Advise HR partners and expatriates on immigration policy updates and mobility compliance requirements.
  • Support employment structure considerations, including tax equalization arrangements and expatriate cost management.
  • Collaborate with Finance and relevant government agencies to ensure compliance with salary remittance, social security, and tax regulations.
  • Work closely with Finance Department to supervise cross‑border activities, keep track travel records to and permanent establishment exposures.
  • Assist in audit processes related to mobility and coordinate with tax authorities and government officials as needed.
  • Manage vendor relationships including selection, negotiation, contract administration, and expense tracking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Tax preferred, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in global mobility, immigration, or related HR/Total Rewards functions.
  • Supervisory/people management experience.
  • Strong functional knowledge of global mobility management practices and relevant compliance requirements.
  • Proven project management skills with experience leading medium‑sized projects.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization and collaborating with global teams across multiple time zones.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and influence across business and geographic boundaries.
  • Self‑motivated with a proactive approach and a strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficiency in English.

  • Strong proficiency with relevant tools, systems, and procedures.
  • Ability to mentor and support less experienced colleagues.
  • Good negotiation skills and ability to manage vendor relationships.
