The primary goals of the Global Master Data Senior Manager are to ensure rigorous control over business partner and item data, establish and enforce data standards, and spearhead the implementation of master data management tooling across the organization.
This is a key role in the divisional organisation and will work with senior management to make sure that Master Data is well maintained and standardised across the whole organisation.
This role combines a strategic focus (implementing master data strategy and tooling) with thought leadership (standards and oversight of migration), technical expertise and the day to day management of a global operational team.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing guidance and direction to the whole of Kingspan Light Air and Water on their data standards and strategy
Develop and implement robust data standards and governance processes to ensure data integrity and consistency across all business units and regions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and implement master data management tooling that aligns with business objectives and supports the organizations digital transformation initiatives, integrating with a complex application landscape
Conduct a thorough evaluation of available tools in the market that support Master Data management. Identify and select the most effective tools that align with our Master Data processes, and oversee their successful implementation
Build up a virtually centralized Master Data Management team with the to support an international (20 countries +) ERP and Salesforce environment
Ensure the accurate and timely maintenance of critical business partner and item data, through the management of a central Master Data Management team
Oversee the integration of master data processes and systems with our new ERP system, ensuring seamless migration and standardization of data and processes.
Work closely with implementation teams in applications like InforLN, Salesforce etc. to ensure that data migration is carried out effectively
Experience in an international enterprise using ERP with focus on manufacturing process [command of production related Master Data is key skill
Detailed knowledge of and Infor ERP LN CSIE [knowledge of INFOR is nice to have but not must requirement or similar ERP environments
Good understanding of central Master Data in a decentralized enterprise
Understanding of the challenges and requirements for managing Master Data in a complex distributed environment
Preferably knowledge of the implementation of tools to support Master Data management
requirements-expected :
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
Proven experience (5 years) in a leadership role within Master Data Management, preferably in a multinational manufacturing or industrial setting.
In-depth understanding of Master Data concepts, data governance frameworks, and best practices.
A strong understanding of Infor LN CSIE would be highly beneficial especially the “operations” area
Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive complex initiatives to successful completion.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong oral and written communication that effectively articulates complex ideas
