Job Overview

1. Define and Execute Supplier Integration Program at selected suppliers.
2. Perform Potential Analysis at new suppliers (VDA6.3 Potential Analysis).
3. Perform Supplier Integration Assessments to selected suppliers.
4. Perform regular visits to Suppliers under the Integration Program till QCDTS Target completion.
5. Verify CQI certifications – Perform CQI audits when applicable.
6. Support suppliers for System Development according to IATF when applicable (i.e., ISO 9000 to IATF).
7. Monitor Supplier’s performance during the Supplier Development (Integration) Program and escalate to Procurement if required.
8. Train Experts within SQ Function for IATF / Core Tools / 5S / Poka-Yoke / Problem-Solving & PDCA / QRM / Lean Tools.
9. Owner of Supplier Academy and Onboarding Process for Quality.
10. Tooling / Technical Skill Capability according to the required commodity / manufacturing process.
11. Experts on Lean Manufacturing. Lead Value Stream Mapping (Flow Analysis) workshops at Suppliers identifying potential cost improvements.
12. Lead Supplier Improvement Workshops (i.e., reduction of CoPQ / Scrap Reduction / Lean Manufacturing) in collaboration with Procurement SDE / CoE.

What your background should look like:

1. At least 5 years of experience within Automotive Quality Management (Procurement is a plus).
2. Fluent English is a must, German is an advantage.
3. Minimum 5 years of Lean Manufacturing Working Experience.
4. Expert Knowledge on VDA 6.3, IATF16949, ISO 14000, ISO 9001, Lean Manufacturing Tools, Automotive Core Tools, Poka-Yoke, and other Automotive Standards.
5. Certified VDA 6.3 (version 2023) / IATF 16949 2nd party auditor.
6. Problem Solving Tools (8D / PDCA / A3 / DMAIC / SPS, etc).
7. Tooling / Technical Skill Capability according to the required commodity / manufacturing process.
8. 6 Sigma Green Belt experience at minimum.
9. Technical knowledge on specific product and process as required (e.g., Molding, Stamping, Plating, Die casting, Mechanical Assembly, PAB/PCBA).
10. Expert level with the tools related to supplier APQP process, including but not limited to PPAP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, , Poka-Yoke, 5S and 8D methodology.
11. Ability to work across cultures and geographies effectively.
12. Thorough knowledge of Problem-Solving tools (5-Why, Ishikawa/Fishbone diagrams, Fault Tree Analysis, A3, SPS, etc).
13. Auditor Skills (ISO 19011 / Automotive Process Approach / Risk Thinking).
14. SAP basic knowledge (Minimum Quality Module).
15. Basic knowledge of GD&T.
16. Strong presentation and communication and negotiation skills.
17. Strong Coaching & Training skills.
18. Business acumen regarding part cost structure / breakdown.
19. Job requires regular travels (including abroad).
20. Independent and able to collaborate with other functions/countries/regions.
21. Continuous improvement mindset.
