Global Key Accounts Business Development Manager

Your responsibilities

  • Create and implement a global Key Account strategy targeting multinational F&B corporations, including yearly Key Accounts activity plans. Establish AICON X-RAY as a preferred partner across their global branches.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with Key Accounts across quality, procurement, and senior decision-maker functions.
  • Continuously seek new business opportunities through market visits and customer meetings. Secure high-value contracts and drive the adoption of our X-ray solutions across multiple sites and regions.
  • Actively contribute to Key Account planning, tracking and forecasting to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.Work closely with marketing and other sales channels, aligning business strategies and annual plans to achieve AICON’s commercial goals.
  • Lead complex sales negotiations, frame commercial agreements, and drive long-term partnerships to ensure mutual satisfaction and business success.
  • Cooperate with marketing and sales teams to monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer needs, secure qualitative marketing collateral and shape AICON’s sales and Key Account strategy to achieve revenue targets.
  • Oversee a Voice of the Customer program within the Key Account channel, ensuring that market feedback influences product and service improvements.
  • Work closely with engineering and service teams to align Key Account customer needs with AICON’s solutions.
  • Act as main point of contact and project manager for Key Account projects, ensuring their successful and timely delivery.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry forums, and summits, establishing contacts, collecting leads, and following up on opportunities.

Our requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience on senior sales position, key account management or business development. Experience in industrial equipment and/or the F&B industry is preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide teams toward achieving common goals.
  • Master’s degree in marketing, business management or a related field.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written); proficiency in additional languages will be an asset.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of F&B quality inspection technologies is an asset. Willingness to learn is a must.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale global key account programs, with a history of securing and expanding major corporate contracts. An established network in the F&B industry is a plus.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and strong contract negotiation skills, with a deep understanding of complex sales cycles.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to identify customer challenges and translate them into business opportunities and solutions.
  • Results-oriented, creative and able to think outside the box.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, capable of maintaining strong engagement with external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive mindset with strong initiative, judgment, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent teamwork, presentation, and consultative sales skills.
  • Data-driven mindset, with experience in sales performance analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to collaborate, influence, and align effectively with internal stakeholders, from marketing to engineering, and service teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-driven approach.
  • Comfortable working across different geographical regions, cultures, and organizational structures.
  • Willingness to travel globally for trade shows, industry forums and key customer meetings.
