Global Financial Controller

• managing master data including creation of cost centers, allocations to and from project and product cost centers, handling of expense allocation keys in SAP CO
• ensuring and supporting a smooth integration of our main feeding systems for e.g. staff bookings and purchase orders
• charging​ international intercompany IT costs, processing and steering (incl. quarterly and yearly closings) between IT Service Hubs, Munich Re Group and its subsidiaries
• supporting IT Controlling Operations team with regular closing and reporting activities and contribute to cross-functional projects with the focus on standardization of processes, preparation for decision-making, documentation and controls
• contributing to the automation and digitalization of systems, tools, interfaces and processes to enhance the efficiency of cost accounting

IT Controlling Operations section is specifically responsible for providing the relevant data to steer the IT expenses and ensuring full compliance with regulatory and IFRS standards related to IT financials. This includes managing all IT-related closing processes including intercompany and tax-related matters across all global Shared Service Organisations of IT.
