Job Description:

Hitachi Energy Transformers is seeking a Global Digital Transformation Applications Service Delivery Manager that can transform our business for marketing & sales, service, and overall experience for Hitachi Energy Customers. This role will focus on our Digital Transformation Strategy and Portfolio management as well as be responsible for the global applications service delivery team.

As a Digital Transformation Portfolio Manager you will drive strategic digital initiatives, unlock growth opportunities, and shape the BUs transformation. Youll lead the high-impact portfolio, bridge technology and business need, and deliver tangible results.

You are accountable for developing, implementing and executing the IT capability within that practice area to plan and build IT solutions resulting from Business of Functions.

You will lead one or more projects/programs and act as single point of contact (SPOC) towards IT and Business Unit for these transformational projects/programs. You are responsible for interaction with functional/business unit leadership to monitor and execute the projects/programs.

As a Global Application Service Delivery Manager, you lead a multinational team of Application Managers, specialists, and developers who will be developing, implementing and executing the IT capability to either plan, build, run or support IT solutions resulting from Business or Support-Function demands.

Your responsibilities:

1. Cultivate digital culture, identify & lead strategic initiatives across the digital ecosystem
2. Develop and manage high-impact digital portfolio for the respective BU/Function, prioritize projects, track progress towards goals
3. Spearhead successful implementation, ensure timely delivery and drive tangible business value
4. Translate complex technology to clear business value, secure buy-in from business stakeholders
5. Execute the given strategy
6. Instruct and guide Project Managers / Program Managers with their respective objectives
7. Guide strategic organizational development
8. Ensure that the project/programs are properly organized, staffed, and skilled
9. Lead several multinational teams associated with the provision of the services to a particular BU
10. Responsible for strategy and operations of their respective department, the HR management of their teams and the budgets associated with their department
11. Lead service and project teams
12. Guide, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, for the benefit of both company and the employee
13. Implement agile development setups
14. Establish a stable end to end service delivery for globally used applications according to ITIL4
15. Guide and support IT implementation projects
16. Create a governance setup and run service/project reviews for service receiving organization according to IT global standards
17. Hold the financial responsibility of all sub-teams
18. Ensure (with HR support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Ensure strategic organization development

Your background:

1. 10+ years profound experience in IT technology and Applications Development Management
2. 5+ years of experience in large global corporations
3. 10+ years in managing third party providers on global scale
4. Bachelors Degree in Information Technology preferred
