Supports the Global Data Reconciliation team in ensuring data integrity through coordination of physical audits, data exploration, data audits, corrections, and reporting. Conducts basic database quality assurance under minimal supervision to maintain accuracy and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Explores data files to determine trends and relationships between variables.
- Pulls data through a variety of tools to gather source data to support metrics.
- Cross‑checks data sets to help data integrity.
- Reviews typical issues around data integrity and works with management to determine actions to resolve them.
- Provides support to the Global and Regional data remediation teams, maintaining a reasonable level of data quality for the region.
- Identifies root causes related to newly discovered issues.
- Performs data impact analysis and drives consistent data solutions within the region as well as globally to maintain alignment with business processes.
- Understands various technologies and analytic tools to troubleshoot and resolve day‑to‑day data issues.
- Supports M&A data integrations ensuring product alignment and data integrity is maintained.
- Creates basic ad‑hoc reports, using insights from data exploration to prepare visualizations and PowerPoint reports for clients.
- Compiles data and assists in producing routine reports; delivers reports to stakeholders and answers questions.
- Reaches out to clients to clarify requests and debrief to explain data insights and confirm the report.
- Coordinates and tracks audit requirements for specific data sets and processes.
- Works with management for any process‑related issues that need to be addressed.
- Follows up to address discrepancies found in audits and tracks to completion.
- Supports M&A physical audits to support data integrations.
- Contributes to periodic audits of data within business systems/platforms.
- Performs follow‑up checks to ensure data quality and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, sorting, charting, lookups, conditional formatting).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; able to present and translate complex findings tailored to stakeholder needs.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or a relevant engineering discipline (nice to have).
- Ability to communicate in Portuguese (nice to have).
