Overview

You will play a vital role in supporting placemakers in delivering exceptional workplace experiences for our customers. You will analyse commercial data and use the results to enhance contract performance across a global Key Account, with a focus on delivering continuous improvement and global consistency.

You will report to the Global Head of Commercial and Pricing and will be responsible for delivering globally consistent financial and commercial data, providing impactful data analysis for commercial decisions. You will identify automation opportunities within commercial workflows and reporting to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Your insights will drive informed decision-making, optimize spend, and identify opportunities for savings and innovation within our global contracts. You will work closely with regional finance teams and support client commercial finance counterparts to deliver high-quality financial reporting and management information.

Main responsibilities and tasks

• Commercial Analysis & Reporting:
  • Deliver consolidated global performance reporting including commercial insights and analysis
  • Ensure the financial reporting tool is updated with annual budgets, forecasts (for contract change notes) and actual data
  • Support the delivery of a 3-month rolling forecast in collaboration with Regional Finance Teams
  • Support delivery of insightful management information and global reports for Customer reviews
  • Identify and drive process improvements and automation opportunities within commercial workflows and reporting
  • Proactively identify opportunities to bring innovation to the account to enable delivery of all contractual and financial data
  • Act as a trusted point of contact to Global and Regional finance teams
• Cost Control & Forecasting:
  • Analyse cost drivers and trends to optimize spend and identify savings opportunities
  • Deliver global contract tracking documents, such as global savings initiatives trackers
• Contract Management Support:
  • Support delivery of ad hoc customer requests for financial and commercial data
  • Support ad hoc financial projects related to occupancy trends, new sites, workplace experience, and client requests
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Engage with regional finance teams to ensure globally consistent, high-quality, insightful reporting
  • Develop strong working relationships with the client’s commercial finance team

Qualifications

• Must be working towards or hold an appropriate professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong commercial financial acumen with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis experience
• Excellent Excel and data analysis skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills; able to translate complex data into clear insights
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and results orientation; willing to challenge and be challenged
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with wider teams
• Experience in a large matrix organisation with multiple stakeholders is preferred
• Experience with customer relationships and commercial contract models is preferred
