Location: Poland Reports To: VP Sourcing

At Kalmar , sourcing is at the core of our global success. As the Global Category Director, Steel , you’ll take the lead in shaping sourcing strategies for one of the most critical and dynamic categories. From driving supplier partnerships to influencing decarbonization efforts, this role puts you at the forefront of global sourcing innovation.

What You’ll Own:

• Create and execute the sourcing strategy for the steel category globally.
• Build strong, strategic relationships with suppliers to ensure cost, quality, and innovation leadership.
• Leverage market intelligence to drive data-informed decisions.
• Lead sustainability initiatives, embedding decarbonization into every sourcing plan.

What You Bring:

• 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, with a deep understanding of steel.
• Proven leadership in supplier relationship management on a global scale.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with experience in matrix organizations.
