Location: Katowice, Poland
Hybrid model: 2 days in office / 3 days remote.
Role Overview
The General Ledger Controller supports a finance team in Europe West, focusing on Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Responsibilities include supporting month‑end close, analysis, and reporting within SAP.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly bookings and assist the finance team during month‑end close with SAP.
- Analyze P&L and balance sheet accounts on a general and ad hoc basis.
- Participate in FY‑end close, including inventory review for external engagements.
- Support ongoing transformation projects within the accounting finance function.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or professional certification in accounting, finance, or a related business subject.
- At least 3 years of experience in finance/controlling or similar roles, preferably with internal cost accounting or general ledger accounting.
- Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken.
- Understanding of financial administrative processes and proactive identification of improvement opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of SAP‑FI and SAP‑CO.
