About the Role:



As a CBRE GL Accounting Lead, you will be responsible for preparing reports and coordinating client equity contributions and distributions.



This role is part of the Controlling function, overseeing financial controls and preparing financial reports for management and shareholders.



What Youll Do:

• Prepare consolidated financial statements and client reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Compile, evaluate, and review financial data and reports, including P&L calculations.
• Manage daily treasury, cash management, and accounting activities of the portfolio.
• Reconcile bank accounts, post journal entries, and ensure transactions are correctly recorded.
• Coordinate with banks and handle financing arrangements and loan agreements.
• Address customer requests promptly and accurately, ensuring high customer service standards.
• Participate in system testing and implementation tasks.
• Apply knowledge of accounting principles to solve complex issues and provide innovative solutions.
• Mentor team members and share expertise across disciplines.
• Lead by example, embody CBRE RISE values, and foster consensus within teams.
• Impact customer, operational, project, and service activities within and outside the team.
• Operate within broad guidelines and policies.
• Communicate difficult or sensitive information effectively.

What Youll Need:

• Bachelors Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience; experience combined with education may be considered.
• Judgment skills based on analyzing multiple information sources.
• Openness to new perspectives on existing solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
• Advanced math skills for financial calculations such as percentages and fractions.
• German language skills at B2 level or higher.
