GL Accountant with Spanish

• Books and verifies General Ledger Journal Entries on behalf of supported units
• Reconciles General Ledger with sub ledgers
• Books, reconciles, and prepares fixed assets reports
• Prepares and generates manual and automatic payments
• Handles accounting of bank statements, billing, and reconciliation of bank accounts
• Supports bank systems and financial operations
• Performs Balance Sheet reconciliation
• Prepares reports according to internal company requirements
• Provides data and analysis for audits
• Supports Team Manager in handling non-standard processes, corrections, and other requests from supported units
• Requires experience in accountancy (experience in Shared Service organization is an asset)
• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a similar discipline
• Must have very good proficiency in speaking, writing, and reading Spanish and English
• Experience in General Ledger Accounting is preferred
• Knowledge of accounting tools and IT systems (SAP experience is an asset)
• Possesses high levels of numerical and analytical skills
