GL Accountant with ItalianMiejsce pracy: Warszawa

Scope of duties: 

• General Ledger Management – Ensure accurate and timely input of financial data into the general ledger, maintaining high-quality financial reporting.
• Compliance & Control – Adhere to strict internal control frameworks and company policies.
• Financial Transactions – Prepare and post general ledger journal entries, ensuring
• compliance with accounting standards.
• Month-End Closing – Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account closing procedures,
• including reconciliations and accruals.
• Financial Analysis – Analyze balance sheets and income statements, preparing concise and clear reports.
• Audit Support – Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary financial
• documentation and reports.
• Cross-Department Collaboration – Work closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts
• Receivable, Tax, and Treasury teams to streamline financial processes.
• Process Improvement – Develop and implement enhancements to financial procedures
• and reporting.
• ERP System Utilization – Ensure the effective use of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) to optimize accounting operations.

Requirements:

• Education: MA in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 3 - 5+ years in General Ledger accounting.
• Languages: Fluency in English and Italian (both required) at least B2 Level
• ERP Systems: Hands-on experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
• Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
