GL Accountant with Italian

Responsibilities:

1. Book and verify General Ledger Journal Entries for supported units (accruals, provisions, cost allocations).
2. Reconcile General Ledger with sub-ledgers.
3. Book, reconcile, and prepare fixed assets reports.
4. Prepare and generate manual and automatic payments.
5. Account for bank statements, billing, and reconcile bank accounts.
6. Support banking systems and financial operations.
7. Perform Balance Sheet reconciliation.
8. Report according to internal company requirements.
9. Provide data and analysis for audits.
10. Assist Team Manager with non-standard processes, corrections, and other requests from supported units.

Minimum requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in accountancy (experience in Shared Service organizations is a plus).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Strong experience in General Ledger Accounting.
• Knowledge of accounting tools and IT systems (SAP is an asset).
• High numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Italian and English (spoken, written, reading).
• Qualified Accountant certificate (CA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is a plus.
