Responsibilities:
- Accurate and timely recording of financial data in the general ledger, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare, review, and post journal entries, ensuring all transactions adhere to company policies and reporting standards.
- Lead the preparation of tax returns and statutory financial statements, in line with legal and regulatory obligations.
- Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including reconciliations, adjustments, and accruals, to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Perform detailed analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts, generating insightful reports to aid decision-making and reporting.
- Oversee the RTR process, collaborating with other financial departments.
- Provide comprehensive support for audits by preparing reconciliations, analyses, and required documentation for internal and external auditors.
- Continuously improve general ledger processes to enhance accuracy, streamline workflows, and maintain GAAP compliance.
- Create ad-hoc financial analyses and lead projects focused on process optimization, policy enhancement, and operational efficiency.
Minimum Requirements:
- University degree in accounting, finance or any relevant field.
- Proven relevant experience, preferably in an SSC environment.
- Very good English is required; Italian or Spanish will be an asset.
- MS Excel and ERP systems experience is required.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Highly detail-oriented and able to work under tight deadlines.
