GL Accountant/Lead Accountant with German

• Leading full accounting cycle for several SPVs
• Preparing quarter-end and year-end closures
• Preparing balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and other required financial statements
• Maintaining, recording, and reconciling GL entries based on supporting documentation
• Performing daily accounting activities such as payments, mappings, and keeping trackers up to date
• Researching open accounting issues and liaising with relevant parties to resolve them
• Answering questions regarding accounting issues and reports
• Supporting tax return preparation
• Supporting other statutory reports
• Supporting the audit process with reconciliations and supporting documents
• Performing other duties as assigned

Your experience and skills:

• Minimum of three to five years of relevant accounting experience
• Advanced accounting knowledge
• Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Advanced English proficiency
• German language skills are required
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, detail-oriented and conscientious
• Ability to provide efficient, timely, and reliable reports
• Ability to analyze and interpret data and documents

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of GAAP
• Financial analysis skills
• Problem-solving abilities involving multiple options
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial management software
