German Language Owner – Surfshark

Join Surfshark’s Content Team to own and craft high‑quality German‑language content across web, campaigns, product and marketing channels. Work closely with PR, SEO, affiliate, design and product teams to localise and optimise content for maximum impact.

Responsibilities

• Own all German‑language content ensuring consistency, on‑brand tone, factual accuracy and high quality across channels.
• Edit and refine AI‑translated German content to make every message clear, compelling and aligned with our tone of voice.
• Write or translate original German copy when needed – from headlines and campaign lines to product or marketing messages.
• Train and improve internal AI tools to enhance German translations.
• Optimize and update SEO content to boost visibility and engagement.
• Collaborate with PR, SEO, affiliate, design and product teams to localise content that connects.
• Maintain and evolve German linguistic resources (style guide, glossary, tone of voice).

Qualifications

• Native‑level German and excellent English communication skills.
• Strong background in editing, localisation or copywriting.
• Deep understanding of German tone, culture and linguistic nuances.
• SEO know‑how – you understand what makes content perform in search.
• Experience transcreating campaign assets or creative copy.
• Knowledge of AI‑assisted translations or localisation tools.
