Overview
UltaHost is seeking a visionary GEO and AEO Specialist (Generative Engine Optimization and Answer Engine Optimization) to lead our visibility strategy across AI-driven search platforms. As search rapidly evolves toward AI-generated answers, this role is critical for ensuring our brand stands out within Large Language Models (LLMs) and answer engines such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity AI, Google AI Overviews, Siri, and other voice assistants. This position plays a key role in shaping the future of UltaHost’s digital presence by ensuring our content becomes the preferred reference point for AI-generated insights.
Role Purpose
The primary goal of this role is to ensure that:
- UltaHost appears frequently in LLM-generated answers
- Our content is selected as a primary source for AI Overviews, direct answers, and zero-click results
- Our presence grows across LLM knowledge, citations, and model responses
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize website content, landing pages, blog posts, and knowledge base articles for GEO and AEO best practices
- Implement structured data, entity-based optimization, semantic SEO, and schema markup to improve AI interpretability
- Develop strategies to increase brand visibility within ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, and other AI systems
- Strengthen content authority to make UltaHost the preferred “best answer” chosen by AI engines
- Improve our visibility in Google AI Overviews, Bing Copilot Answers, and zero-click AI search experiences
- Collaborate closely with SEO, content, and technical teams to build an AI-first optimization workflow
- Monitor LLM output trends, answer engine performance, and algorithmic updates
- Perform routine testing and analysis to understand how AI models pull information and how to influence it
- Stay up-to-date with emerging AI search technologies and evolving GEO/AEO methodologies
Requirements
- Proven experience in GEO, AEO, semantic SEO, entity SEO, or AI search optimization
- Strong understanding of structured data (Schema.org, JSON-LD) and semantic content modeling
- Familiarity with LLM ecosystems (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, etc.)
- Experience optimizing content for AI Overviews, Featured Snippets, Direct Answers, or zero-click search
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset
- Ability to audit content, understand LLM behavior, and improve AI-selected responses
- Bonus: Experience in hosting, cloud services, or web technology sectors
