For an international company with SSC located in Kraków, we are currently building a new team. We are looking for an experienced Team Leader who is not afraid to take on new challenges and, thanks to his extensive knowledge, will help the company grow.

You will be responsible for:

  • Optimization and supervision of financial processes in the company,
  • Participation in the budget preparation process and predicting future financial trends,
  • Preparing reports, financial statements and controlling the month-end closing process, interpreting and reviewing financial information,
  • Cooperation with external institutions (auditors),
  • Be a first point of contact for the board management,
  • Supervision over the accounting area - including tax settlements,
  • Controlling and verifying financial reports of account payables, and account receivables Team,
  • Developing strategies that work to minimize financial risk,
  • Analyzing market trends and competitors,
  • Ensuring month-end processes are completed accurately and timely,
  • Monitoring all Balance Sheet and P&L transactions to ensure accuracy of postings, correcting where required,
  • Playing an active role in implementing new financial solutions and tools,
  • Ensuring proper company policies/procedures are being followed,
  • Consolidation and confirmation of balances and transactions in group companies,
  • Prepare various reports and analysis on senior management requests.

We are looking for:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Team Leader,
  • Master’s degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting or similar field of study,
  • Experience in implementing financial improvements,
  • Previous experience in a SSC / BPO will be a plus,
  • Excellent analytical skills,
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team,
  • Expert knowledge of SAP,
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook),
  • Fluency in English and German.
